Spectrum LGBTQ+ Community Youth Group

The Youth Services Bureau is proud to offer a new program that provides workshops, discussion groups, and art collaborations, as well as counselling services, peer mentoring, and primary care resources.

Are you or someone you know an LGBTQ+ youth looking for a rainbow space to meet new people, engage in workshops and discussions, access services, or just chill out? You are invited to join Spectrum: a brand new community group for LGBTQ+ youth in Ottawa!

Each evening involves a services that youth can access, including an introduction to our space and expectations, a queer current events discussion, activities, access to harm reduction exchange, access to basic needs items, access to crisis counsellors from YSB and an in-house counsellor from Centretown Community Health Centre, Spectrum also offers a relaxed space where youth can be out and proud!

When possible, snacks will be provided. Our frontline workers are trained counsellors and peer mentors available if youth need to talk. We can make referrals too.

Spectrum is accessible, and meets every Tuesday from 7-9 PM at 147 Besserer St. Open to youth ages 12 to 25.
