Programme REPÈRE

The REPÈRE program offers youth 16 to 18 years old an alternative way of learning. Youth participating in the program have the support of a multidisciplinary team, as well as opportunities to get involved in the community and experience a co-op placement.

REPÈRE helps young people who are at risk of not completing high school, have a very high rate of absenteeism, have dropped out or are missing from the school radar. It also helps youth develop skills for employability, with practice creating a résumé, doing interviews and exploring areas of interest. Family needs are also taken into consideration, and supports are offered as well as referral to other services.

Program Structure

Each youth who chooses to participate in the program will work towards achieving three credits. REPÈRE is individualized for each student based on their academic objectives, as well as focusing on:

  • Physical Education
  • Nutrition Community
  • Involvement
  • Volunteer hours
  • Coop placements
  • Counseling
