We understand that finding a job can be stressful and frustrating at times, but we can make it easier for you to successfully enter or re-enter the workplace.
YSB Employment Services offer job seekers of all ages support to prepare for the job market and find employment. Services include career counselling, interview preparation, job fairs and job placements. We also work with employers to match people and job opportunities.
Summer Jobs Service
Offered annually from April 1 to August 31, this program provides job search support and placement services for all students planning to return to school in the fall. Incentives are offered to employers willing to hire summer students.
Youth Opportunities Strategy — Summer Jobs for Youth
Open to students (aged 15 – 18) living in one of 11 designated communities, this program prepares youth for their first employment experience — from job‑readiness and work placement to back-to-school integration.
